Specialist Tennis Court Lighting providers for over 35 years

Our History

In 1987, the ADVANTAGE Low Profile ‘BOX’ system was developed with the aim of producing a lighting system specifically for tennis, whilst at the same time suiting the environment, as a large proportion of tennis clubs are situated in urban areas.

We carried out a multitude of installations throughout the UK during this period, and we are pleased to confirm that many clubs whom have ADVANTAGE are still enjoying playing under them more than 35 years later.

In 2013, after 25 years of supplying and installing the ADVANTAGE system, Exclusive Leisure Ltd decided to enter into the ‘Projector’ floodlighting market, and with the help of Philips’ expertise within the sports lighting industry, we started to supply and install ‘Corner-Lit’ schemes, which then enabled us to offer the complete range of LTA approved floodlighting systems.

In 2014, we were approached by a European manufacturer of LED lighting to work with them in the UK and offer LED lighting to tennis clubs. Unfortunately outdoor LED lighting at that time lacked maturity, and we were aware that the LTA and Sport England were trialling LED lighting at various sites in the UK, so decided to wait a few years until we were confident that we had found an LED manufacturer, that could supply a product that would be cost effective, reliable, and would ensure that our reputation within the tennis floodlighting industry remained as it was, and still is today.

So in 2019, we chose to work with Philips Lighting, whom are one of the largest Sports Lighting manufacturers in the world, and offer an excellent range of the latest high-efficiency LED sports lighting systems all with a 5-year warranty directly with themselves.

Now that we can offer LED lighting alongside our metal halide range, it has given us the opportunity to illuminate other sports areas too… we have successfully installed LED lighting to more than 150 tennis courts and sports pitches over the past five years.

LED lighting has now become the standard for illuminating tennis courts worldwide.
